Wedding Countdown

Growing up we made paper chains
to help us count down to special events.
More often than not it was because
​our grandparents were coming to visit,
and who wants to answer the question for the millionth time,
"How many days until Papa and Nanny get here?!" 

After Chris and I became engaged
​I downloaded a wedding app to help keep track of the days.
Oh, how fun it was to open the app every day
and watch that number go down!

With 150 days left to go we started reading through the Psalms backwards during our daily FaceTime calls.
(We are thankful for modern technology!) 
We take turns reading the chapter of the day
​and it has been very special to do our countdown this way! ​
Today we are down to 100 days! 

My sister and brother-in-law also read through the Psalms backwards as a countdown to their wedding.
